First the positive! Very nice and friendly service. SORRY too overpriced! I ate 1 salad, which consisted of mixed lettuce, 4 sliced ​​cocktail tomatoes and a little crumbled sheep's cheese around it. The whole thing for PROUD € 10.90. It almost knocked me out of my shoes !! I have to say positively that the vinaigrette was delicious! The seating was very uncomfortable, not to say hard wooden chairs! Too bad I personally would not go there again, not with such a price-performance ratio! I can't say anything about other price-performance ratios for other dishes, just about my plate!

We wanted to go to Kassel over the weekend for a big event. But it should be as a hotel a bit out of the way to have something of nature. The Ehlener post office noticed me with the search on a booking portal, since they have a pleasantly human overnight price. The location was very good, not far from the highway and not far from the Hercules. The o.g. Event, was at the fair in Kassel, this was within about 25 minutes. You can not expect a star hotel, but that is not the claim of the hotel. We had a pleasantly sized double room. The decor was very individual, with us u.a. an old farmer cabinet, something exudes a very pleasant charm. Shower and toilet were in a separate room, the washbasin was right in the room, not necessarily something for a long vacation, but for a weekend and for the price (80 € per double room including breakfast) absolutely fine. Especially to be highlighted was the very friendly staff and the great restaurant. We ate dinner once in the evening. Again, a great value, not to say very reasonable price for the offered. The breakfast was also a highlight. Since the hotel was rather small, you got a individually set table with all sorts of sausage, cheese, fruit, jam, ... We say thank you for a nice weekend and will gladly recommend the house!

The culinary wine tasting on 27.10.17 we really liked. The four courses, as well as the greeting from the kitchen, were a poem. We were allowed to enjoy matching wines, which were entertainingly explained by a sympathetic gentleman. The coziness was capitalized and the atmosphere was perfect.
